Tracts
Just as they are here in America, tracts can be a very important tool for
reaching people in India. It is something that people can take with them
and read in their own time. They can be easily transported and passed from
person to person. Tracts are $1 per packet. | Top |

Bibles
A Bible is an essential tool. Though plentiful here, they are very rare
in India. Oftentimes, just having one for a village or a congregation is
a major accomplishment. We can distribute Bibles in the native languages
of India for only $2 each. | Top |

Dhari
It is common in India to sit on the floor or ground for meetings. As you
can imagine, during the winter season, the floors can become quite cool
to be sitting on for hours at a time. The Dhari is a floor rug that can
cover a 10' x 10' area. This provides warmth and cushioning as well as helping
keep people's garments clean. A typical Dhari will cost $30 | Top |

Gas Light
In many areas where our missionaries live and visit, electricity is often
unreliable or even unavailable. A lantern can provide enough light to enable
safe travel during the nighttime hours and for conducting evening meetings.
As most people are day laborers, they often will not have time to listen
or attend a meeting unless it is at night. A lantern allows the missionary
to have some light for these meetings. Each lantern costs $40. | Top |

Bicycle
A bicycle will enable a missionary to reach more villages and visit more
people that they can by foot. The villages that our missionaries visit are
usually spread out with few roads between them. By foot a missionary can
reach only a few villages in a day. With a bicycle, they can reach easily
2-3 times more villages and keep in better contact with the people that
they meet. We can provide a good quality bicycle for a missionary for $100.

Gas Stove
Many of our missionaries live in a room that is rented from the owner of
the house. As the owner is usually struggling to have enough to feed their
own family, they can not offer the missionary any cooking materials. Most
villages do not have a gas connection and it can be expensive to purchase
wood. Even if they can get wood, it is often not possible to use a wood-buring
stove in the room. We can provide a propane gas cooking stove for $100.
This way they have a stove with which they can heat up and cook their food.

Motorbike
Like with a bicycle, a motorbike enables a missionary to visit many more
villages in a day than they can by foot. This is especially useful for our
area coordinators who have 5-10 people working under them. With a motorbike
they can visit each missionary at least once a month to encourage them and
offer advice as to how they can be the most effective in their area. A motorbike
like the one shown here costs $1,000. | Top |

Church Hall
Once a missionary has a good number of people regularly attending the weekly
service, they often find themselves in need of a church building. The building
provides protection from the elements as well as some security from the
local persecution. Each building is capable of holding 100-150 people. There
is also an attached parsonage for the missionary to live in. A typical church
building with the parsonage costs $8,500. | Top |
