Any 2 week period that you are available to travel to India, we can accommodate you. Our staff in India speak English well and will oversee your entire stay. We invite you to come to see our headquarters in Nagpur (known as the Orange City) or any of the other locations.

Missions Opportunities

Teaching

If you are gifted in teaching, you can help us equip our Bible students for the ministry. We are interested in experienced teachers to come to India and teach our Bible students. You will be helping us mold and shape the next generation of missionaries. We have 25 Bible Colleges that you can come and teach in. As you teach our students, you will be inspired by their willingness to step out in faith and trust God for all of their needs.

Children's Ministry

If you have a passion for children, we have a Mercy Home in Nagpur which houses almost 100 children. We also have Mercy Homes in some of the other states (our long-term goal is 1 Boy's and 1 Girl's Mercy Home in each state). Before coming to our Mercy Home many of them came from families that could not afford three full meals each day nor could they afford to send them to school. Now, they receive three full meals each day, clothing, an education, medical care as need and, most importantly, they learn about the love of Christ. You can come teach the children Bible stories, play games with them, and spend one-on-one time with the children. This is also a great opportunity for music and drama teams to use their skills in the mission field.

Seminary Library

If you are good at organizing and have basic computer skills, you could help us sort out and catalog the books in our seminary library. We have many boxes of books waiting to be go on the shelves for use by our students and you could help get these books ready for the next semester.

Construction/Landscaping

If you are good at working with your hands, you could help out with various construction and landscaping projects. We are still constructing buildings on our seminary campus and at a couple of our satellite training centers. Because of the dry climate on the seminary and in the northern schools, it can be difficult to grow any plants that require constant care and watering. With your knowledge of landscaping, you could help us come up with, and implement, a landscaping design that will be attractive and yet easy and inexpensive to maintain.

If you are interested in any of these areas, or perhaps you have an interest in another area not mentioned, please give us a call in the RIMI office. We will work with you to find a time when you can come and use you God-given gifts and skills for His service in India.

* Note: For every additional day spent at a Mission India campus, there will be an additional charge of $15 per day for housing, food and two bottles of water per day. Once you leave the Mission India campus your daily expenses will be your responsibility. None of these costs include a trip to the Taj Mahal.
