All people going on a Missions Trip with RIMI must fill out the application
forms listed below. Also, you will need a valid Passport and VISA.

All VISA processing has now been outsourced. If you downloaded forms before October 2007, and have not yet sent them in, you will need to go to the new VISA web site to start the VISA process. http://indiavisa.travisaoutsourcing.com

US Citizen Passport Application

Passport Application Form - You can download a PDF of the application form from this web site. This is the correct form for US Citizens to obtain a passport for the first time. The passport forms on the Embassy of India web site are only for India Citizens.

VISA Application

The Embassy of India has outsourced all VISA processing to Travis Outsourcing. To apply for your VISA, you need to start the application process online at http://indiavisa.travisaoutsourcing.com. Please download the document above Instructions for filling out the VISA Application form for a RIMI Missions Trip. It should contain all of the information you need to complete the application process. Once the application is completed, you must bring it in person to the correct embassy or mail it in. Contact information for each embassy is listed in the instruction form and is listed again below for your convenience. Please note, this information may change, so be sure to check the current contact information from the Travis Outsourcing web site by visiting https://indiavisa.travisaoutsourcing.com/track-passport and then clicking on the LOCATION button.

It is not recommended to track or inquire about your application by phone. The phones are usually very busy and wait times can be ½ hour or more. Therefore, it is best to track the progress online at: https://indiavisa.travisaoutsourcing.com/track-passport.
