Sponsor a Native Church Planter |
| |
RIMI now has 1,300 church planters out in the field, but many more are needed. Our goal is to send out thousands of church planters to the harvest field. You can help today by sponsoring a church planter for as little as $30 per month. It takes between $30-$180* to fully sponsor a native church planter depending on family size and location. When you sponsor, you will receive a biography and photo of your church planter as well as our monthly newsletter. Here is an example of one of the many church planters on our waiting list. |

Family Background |
| |
PM was born and raised in Rajasthan.
His father's job was making idols. The family worships various gods such as Hanumna, Kali, Krishna, and Durga. PM grew up in the home without hope and peace. He was seaching for the truth, but was not able to find it. The teachings and traditions of his religion could not offer him the answers for which he was searching.
PM later left his home due to domestic issues and went out in search of the truth. One day, he met an evangelist who shared with him the love of Christ and invited him to a local church. While there, he heard the wonderful message of Christ and accepted Him as his personal savior.
After his commitment to Christ, PM went to a bible school in South India where he met his wife and was married in 1987.
PM is currently working as a church planter/pastor with RIMI and MI in the northwest of India. He has to work very hard to reach the people of the area as they are considered low caste and they are very illiterate. |

* Our goal is to create healthy and locally supported indigenous ministries. In order to promote this healthy support, we provide only enough support to provide for basic living expenses. The exact amount is determined by our field office and is given on the basis of various factors including their location and number of family members. Support is spread among multiple sponsors to insure an adequate and consistent support base. All support goes to the General Missionary Fund and is then used to meet the various needs of the missionaries such as monthly support, house rent, medical emergencies, evangelistic meetings, ministry tools, field supervision, education, and administration.
